An order may be cancelled at any time before the digital proofs are started to receive a full refund. If cancellation occurs after the digital proofs you will receive a refund minus $75 for time and design. If cancellation occurs after your paper stocks are ordered only a 50% refund is available. (We generally do not order your stocks until after the initial digital proof unless it is a rush order). If cancellation occurs after printing begins, there is no refund.
What is the timeline for an order?
The timeline can vary per client based on time spent reviewing proofs, and proceeding with the next steps. Since most orders request various customizations, it can average between 3-4 weeks between submitting the final details and shipping of your order, but can be done quicker when needed. We do not mass-produce invitations, but spend time in personal communication with you to create the perfect invitation including all of the details that you need! You will always know the status of your order and we can work toward the date that you desire to receive them. Orders needed within a 2 week period would be considered a rush order and would incur $50 add'l charge.
How much postage will my invitation require?
Modern invitation design is not able to estimate your postage due to ever-changing guidelines of the post office. Postal clerks are also able to use their own judgement based on whether an item seems "machine-able" (if the piece is able to be "machine cancelled" by the automated equipment or has to be hand- cancelled.) Therefore, it can be based on "stiffness" even if a piece is underweight. You will want to take your invitation to the post o office to determine postage needs.
We can share the following guidelines that we do know:
Any square items require additional postage regardless of size or weight.
Clear "poly" envelopes incur add'l postage.
Items that are stiif, rigid, or unbendable can incur add'l postage
Any lumps due to ribbons or other embellishments can cause the piece to require "hand-cancelling".
Items over 1 oz will be based on weight.
Postcards over 4" x 6" require full postage.
You can purchase single stamps in the denomination needed to avoid multiple stamps. If you are looking for a particular stamp design, you can also go to the official postal service website to see what is available or to order stamps directly. (www.usps.com)
